So Chris Jones Gaming are back after our 1-day protest against the SOPA and PIPA legislation and it’s to the news that the BBC have released the first screenshots for the upcoming Doctor Who game, The Eternity Clock.
Although the first image appears somewhat blurred, the Doctor model seems to lean more towards a realistic portrayl, as opposed to the more caricature/cartoon portrayl of the 11th Doctor found in the recently released preview build of the Doctor Who MMO, Worlds In Time.
Whilst the Doctor model looks quite good, I’m slightly concerned about the very basic nature of the Tardis console. Remember that this title is destined to be a download title for the PS3, the PC and the Playstation Vita, all of which have much higher capabilities than what we can see in this first image.
The second and third images released show two of the enemies Players will have to face in the shape of The Silence and the Moffat-Era Daleks. These images are of a higher quality, but still seem to suggest The Eternity Clock won’t harness much of the power the PC and Playstation 3 platforms have to offer.
Nevertheless, it’s great to finally get our eyes on this new title, which as a Doctor Who fan, I’m quite looking forward to. The images below have been scaled down, but you can see larger versions by clicking on them.
