ID Software have released the entire source code of it’s 2004 title, Doom 3.
Available under GPL (General Public License), the source code is available to anyone and is free of charge.
The release of the Doom 3 Source Code was announced earlier this year and although the code was ready to be released earlier this month, legal issues with a certain section of the Code meant that release was delayed.
